I could not get to work properly with a 48v MY1020 motor. I was able to program it and get the settings right. The motor would spin up smooth when there was no load but once I connected it to the chain and wheels, the controller would have an error code stating that it was over current. I don't think that was the case because it would trigger at very little throttle. I will say the the design of the controller and programmability is nice.
