Arrived undamaged that's the first plus. Purchased 2 of these units, wired in parallel. I split the solar panel array in half.(The combiner box has 2 seperate circuits for the solar panels) This was done in the event something went wrong with a specific panel I could isolate half to do repairs while the other continues charging the battery bank. Took a little while to figure out operations of units. Came down to don't read into the manual to far. Very simple set up the operations. Brought 8 batteries from 12.4 volts to 13.5 volts in less than an hour. You can adjust maximum voltage setting. Units then switched to trickle charge. Needless to say I have the maximum set at 13.5 volts. Time will tell as to reliability. So far very satisfied.Very simple installation, And a great value for your money.Product seems to work fine. I did not find temperature sensor probe. I would like to know who to contact to obtain probe.Looks like a solid build on the outside. Failed after two weeks of use. I live off grid in the west TX desert. Need reliability. Went outside about 10 minutes after sunrise and smelled electronic majik sm0ke. Unit was blank and non functional. Contacted Amazon and sent it back for a refund. Got an Epever 40amp MPPT instead.Just run it on factory settings and Let It Go all setworks ok..The 60 amp charge controller is a good charge control I would not go with any thing smaller.I bought a 40 amp and a 100 amp unit. The 100 amp model quit after 2 months.The 40 amp model lasted almost 6 months. No smoke or fire, just quit working.
